Father Benedict discusses that this film is not for entertainment and instead of being shown in movie theatres it should be shown in Churches with people on their knees. He tried to contact Mel Gibson to put a disclaimer that the film was in no way antisemitic. This is a film based on the Bible account of the Passion. After viewing the film, Father felt like when he left Auschwitz Concentration Camp in (then German-occupied) Poland. We can learn from the Passion about the powerful meditation "that God so loved the World that He gave His Only Son to save Us."
